Double win for Kinesis at the Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards
Christmas seems to have come early here at Kinesis Ltd, as we end the year on a high note after winning not just one, but two awards at the Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards 2016! This adds to our already prestigious portfolio of business awards achieved this year, including the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade in April and the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce Global Awards for Export Growth in June.
Kinesis was named as a winner of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade on the 21st of April, coinciding with The Queen’s 90th Birthday. Kinesis representatives were invited to attend HM The Queen’s Awards Reception at Buckingham Palace on July 14th. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade was officially presented to Kinesis by HM Deputy Lord Lieutenant Mr John Bridge OBE on the August 4th, in the presence of local dignitaries, key suppliers to Kinesis and all Kinesis staff.
We were also named as the winner of the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce Global Award for Export Growth at a special awards ceremony held on the 10th of June. And last week, we were proud to receive both the Business Development Award and the Business of the Year Award at the Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards on Friday 4th November.
On announcing Kinesis as the winner of the Business Development Award at the Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards, the judges said:
"Having demonstrated that business development is about the long-term strategy, difficult decisions and investment in people, Kinesis are a worthy winner. They have established routes to markets across the world but still have a local feel with great communication channels and commitment to innovation and customer care."
When it came to the Business of the Year award, the judges said they were impressed with the overall professional management, the implemenation of processes and growth plans for the future. A global leader in this field, Kinesis continues to introduce new products, improve customer support and develop marketing strategies to maintain and grow their international presence.
This has been a very proud year for Kinesis who will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2017. Mona El-Kheshen, Marketing Communications Manager, comments:
"Working for a multi-award winning company is incredibly rewarding, it inspires all of us within Kinesis to keep challenging ourselves and keep setting the bar higher for everything we do. We believe that if we continue to focus on offering unrivalled service and support to our global customer base, the rewards will always follow."
Kinesis received the awards in recognition of achieving continuous growth of the business, which is one of the leading suppliers and servicers of chromatography, liquid handling, sample storage and medicinal chemistry consumables and equipment. Overseas sales have grown by over 200% in the last six years with the percentage of sales exported growing from 19% to 56%. The same period has also seen a great investment in people and technology which has helped to make Kinesis a renowned global brand.
Commenting on the awards, Roy Testa, Group Commercial Director said:
"We are delighted and honoured to have won all these prestigious awards. We understand that this success is only made possible by the efforts of all within the Kinesis Group. We would like to dedicate our latest awards to the memory of Sharron Hopkins, our greatly missed colleague and extremely talented Graphic Designer, who was due attend the Huntingdonshire Awards ceremony with us. Sharron was instrumental in shaping the Kinesis brand identity and helping us grow into a global company."
